Right now your business might be completely invisible.

We help clients to completely improve their websites. The first thing we do is carry out an SEO audit and a website health check because based on experience this is usually where we find several problems. Poor meta-tag descriptions, weak backlinks and low quality content are some of the areas where we make improvements for clients.

Lets face it, there are many reasons why a business can experience a quiet period but one of the most fundamental tools for a well performing business is a fully responsive website. We help our clients to address their existing SEO issues and start directing traffic back to their business.

Here are the top 5 things you need to check for your website ASAP

1: Is my website secure? Yes/No

A simple way to check this is to see if your site is http or https. Https has a higher amount of encrypted connections and therefore is far more secure. If you are not running on https your site will rank lower on all search engines. It will also discourage potential clients from browsing on your site. Basically you are invisible. The solution is applying a SSL certificate to your website.

2: Have I invested in a professional website? Yes/No

Did you know that free websites are not good for business!! They lack credibility and will rank lower on all search engines. Do yourself a favour and invest in yourself.

3: Am I mobile friendly? Yes/No

In 2020 if you are not mobile friendly FORGET IT! Over %70 of ALL OF YOUR FUTURE PROSPECTS will come from a search done on a mobile device. That is a whopping amount of clients you are losing every single day that you are not investing in your website. Mobile optimisation is crucial. We can help with this.

4: Does my website have good speed? Yes/No

Slow websites are very poor for your image and also very bad for SEO. If your website is taking more than 6 seconds to load the user is 9 times more likely to leave your site.

5: Do you have enough quality content? Yes/No

Single page websites are not good for SEO. They also do not succeed in building layers of trust between you and the client. Your bounce rate will be higher as people log on and off your website with little time spent browsing. Google algorithms recognize this and the result is an even harder negative impact on your rankings.

There is a long list of other vital stats that should be evaluated to ensure your business website is performing. At UBERINK we will do an initial free consultation and evaluation of your website and provide you with a report.

Top 5 ways to improve your Social Media presence

Here is how you can leverage Social Media to exponentially grow your Revenue

Every business must do everything they can to stand out from the crowd, to capture a piece of the pie and to highlight what is special and different about their business. Two of the greatest platforms to achieve this are Facebook and Instagram. A lot of  businesses do these either really well or really poorly. Why? Let me show you.

Here are the top 5 reasons why some businesses have poor Social Media presence:

  1. They try to do it all themselves – not everyone can create a Social Media content strategy that is lasting, creative, consistent and engaging. Hire a seasoned professional who can dedicate their time to help your business grow.
  2. They don’t hire a professional photographer – if you evaluate the top performing Instagram accounts and I mean those with 30k followers or more they most definitely will have had professional photographs taken. Check some out for yourselves and you will notice the impact – pretty good yeah?
  3. No consistency – we see this a lot. Some businesses will start on a high. One post per day quickly reduces to one or two per week and as the pressure of running the business mounts, marketing it becomes a lesser priority.
  4. Little or no value – even if the posts are consistent the value offered to the potential customer is not attractive or engaging
  5. Everything looks amateur – If a customer is comparing your business to one that has over 30k followers with engaging content, amazing photography and consistent posting they will automatically recognize a Social Media account that is ran poorly. Nine out of every ten people will not feel encouraged to like or follow your page. 9 OUT OF EVERY 10 – Lets face it, you are losing potential customers and revenue.

So how do we turn this all around? With tailored, strategic and revenue making Social Media Management. Lets look at what the highest performing businesses do best:

  • They hire a Social Media Agency who specialize in Social Media Marketing and Management.
  • Engaging content - Imagination is everything!
  • They get to know their customer and therefore create content that speaks to them specifically.
  • They implement a consistent strategy that ties in with their branding, values and overall goals.
  • Clever tags. To broaden your reach understanding Hashtags is crucial. This is something our UBERINK team do really well.
  • They use data to create their ideal audience and re-target them through clever campaigns, blogging, email marketing and more.
Its early 2020, ask yourself where do you want to be in 12 months? Maybe opening a second business? Maybe you want to increase your Social Media followers by 20k? Maybe you are developing your own brand of coffee or shoes? Of all the possibilities I am certain that your first priority is to increase your revenue. So lets get started.

The Re-Birth of the Business Card

In 2019 I was given so many eye-catching and quirky business cards that it re-affirmed for me the importance of having a business card. There was a worrying habit that was almost trending where multiple businesses globally, small and large, were shunning this crucial piece of branding paraphernalia.

Some said it was becoming outdated and others couldn’t justify the cost. It seems so much easier to exchange numbers and connect across social media. But they missed the point – it is not just about the connection, it is also about the perception of professionalism, the familiarity and building layers of trust.

Lets start with the idea of connecting – or networking. There are so many ways to network globally in todays’ modern and digital world – Social Media, Skype, Zoom, conferences and events, over the phone and the list goes on. When we have the opportunity to meet a client or future business associate in person the psychology of that initial appointment is so important. This is where perception, trust and familiarity come into play.

Exchanging a business card reaffirms that you are here to offer a valuable and professional service. It indirectly builds confidence, offers assurance and validates your business.

I never leave the office without my business card. In fact I usually have about thirty on hand at any one time. Why? Because you never know when an opportunity to connect will arise. And when it does first impressions count.

If you are a young entrepreneur or a seasoned professional do not be blasé about how you brand yourself and your business. A small investment in the design and printing of a business card will gain you credibility, trust and of course a very attractive return on your investment!

Word Of Mouth The Most Authentic Marketing Technique (Cost Effective)

'Word of Mouth' is definitely one of the most effective marketing techniques.

The great thing about word of mouth is that it is cost effective and great for start up businesses with little or no marketing budget.

The way it works is you have one client and you don't just meet their expectations...you go above and beyond their expectations and create a WOW experience! A WOW experience can be created by providing value through the exchange of a product or service.

The client, so impressed by their experience provided tell at least three people in their network. They are shocked and impressed by the experience that they have just heard about and proceed to tell people in their network. This creates the ripple effect through word of mouth.
